Propaganda (Excerpt)

I recently gave the book “propaganda” a read (it’s a fairly quick read) and in my opinion it’s probably the most interesting book written by Edward L. Bernays – the man dubbed the “father of public relations”.

There are so many quotable lines in this book but the one below stood out the most for me

Modern business must have its finger continuously on the public pulse. It must understand the changes in the public mind and be prepared to interpret itself fairly and eloquently to changing opinion.”

The quote might be stating the obvious but it’s timeless nonetheless.
